Poached Egg And Avocado Toast Recipe - Healthy Breakfast Idea

Hey guys! 
Two weeks ago, my friend and I were making this amazing dish.


To be honest, I didn't do anything. I just ate it when it was done. 
Let's think about a good name for this dish...



I can tell you one thing, it was delicious. 
What you need: (for 1 serving)
- An avocado
- An egg 

Eggocado?

- Rye Bread


Steps: 
1- Mash the avocado using a fork until its texture becomes creamy.

2- Spread the Avocado 'cream' on the rye bread.

Now for what looked like a hard part:
3- Boil a good quantity of water in a casserole.


4- Use a wooden spoon to create a tornado in the middle of the pot. 
5- As soon as a really small whirlpool shows up,
crack the egg open and make it fall on the exact spot of the little vortex. 
( this will probably not look so good the first time but practice makes perfect )

Vorteggado ?
(That seems like a monster in a kids show.)


6- After that, shut the casserole and wait a minute for the egg to form.
This is how the egg looked after we got it out of the water.


7- Now this is what it's supposed to look like. Apparently it's called poaching an egg. I honestly never tasted it before and never knew how to make it of course, which I still don't. 


I don't know about you but I LOVE avocados.
This is a really good breakfast idea because rye bread is not calorific and it definitely helps you stop your hunger for the long run. It's a good way to kick start the day.

We actually had it for dinner, and drank smoothies with it! Might be posting something about that. 
I promised you this post a while ago but the pictures were with my friend who's kind of forgetful. 

Also, I tried doing it at home but it just tasted like sh*t. My cooking skills are still not showing up! ;) 

PS: I just remembered I did do something, I spread the avocado 'cream' on the bread!
