How and Why Quinoa

Hey guys! 
So I don't know if you follow me on Snapchat, but if you did you'd know I'm an addict to quinoa. And if you didn't follow me on Snapchat already, make sure you do: theamechleb, and leave your username in a comment below so I can follow you back! 


So here's the whole deal about quinoa!
What's your opinion about this food?



 HOW!
Boil some water while adding the quinoa to it.
It should take about 15 minutes for the quinoa to be ready.



Add a dash of salt to the mixture.


While waiting for the quinoa to be ready, prepare the other vegetables you will add to the salad.
This salad was made by my friend, I usually don't add all of these.

- Cucumber


- Tomato


- Corn 


- Grated Carrot


- Tuna


- Artichoke


You can also add: 
- Avocado
- Onions
- Mango
...
My mom also adds an amazing sauce to it: 


It's orange juice, with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. 


Add the quinoa. You can keep the salad in a refrigerator for it to cool down a bit.


WHY QUINOA?

- Quinoa is high in anti-inflammatory phytonutrients
Quinoa contains small amounts of the heart healthy omega-3 fatty acids.
- Quinoa has a high
 content of monounsaturated fat.
- It's a complete protein.
- It's high in dietary fibres.
- It's low in calories.

This is why Quinoa is super-extra good for your diet!
